Gonna go with wideglide front end on my lowrider,,,gonna increase the rake by 5Degrees And go 4 inches longer on tubes,,now heres the million dollar question,,,do the rake in the triple tree or neck cups? ive heard triple tree makes it more unstable...also does anyone know if the neck cups on my 01 removeable,,never had any of that off thanks
As far as I know, the rake is in the frame. For 2003 models FXDL & FXDWG frames are 32 degrees; FXD/FXDX & FXDXT frames have 28 degrees...
Not shure about the rake numbers on 2001 frames.
Some time ago I noticed forum member sharkey owns a 2001 Dyna models parts catalog... I'd say: shoot him a PM and ask him to check it for you?
