Just bought the new CVO Softail Converiable and I think I am going to like this ride. It is actually lower than my 07 softail deluxe.
First thing is to change these quite stock pipes for something with a little bit more noise. Put have to keep in mind that CA is changing everything and really getting hard on loud pipes and after market.
Nice ride Barry. Congrats. What kind of pipes are you thinking about. I'd recommend some Vance and Hines big shot longs on that bike. That would look great and they are not too loud for us Californians. But, keep you stock exhaust just in case you do get pulled for loud exhaust that way you can swap them, get the bike inspected and then put whatever pipes back on. I had that happen right after I got my bike about 5 years ago. That was the only time.
Just seen the blue CVO in person last week. Very nice lookin ride. I like the idea of buying the bike and everything is already quick detachable. The windshield is starting to grow on me too.
Take off that windshield and that tiny headlight. Put on a fatboy headlight and a freight train Nacelle and then you'll have a nice looking ride.
Good idea on the nacelle... +1, that would look sick on that ride... you can even play matching the paint scheme on the nacelle, it doesn't have to be chromed.
