i had short shots on my n train but after putting a cam in and not feeling much added power due to the short shot pipes i changed them out for a 2-1 VH pro pipe...best thing i could have ever done and i also use the fuelpak as i didn't want to pay big bucks for a dyno tune...im sure if i went with a PC I could gain a few HP but probably wouldnt out weigh the cost

I bought my 09 Night Train last year in July and before it left the shop I ordered the Thundermax auto tune, thunderheader and SE Heavy Breather A/C. With 400 miles on the bike and the new parts on it dyno'd 75 HP and 96 ft Lbs of torque. This thing pulls from about 2500 rpm until you let off. They were afraid to really get on it on the dyno since is was such a new motor, but this spring when they take it out of storage they will be running again to get it dialed in.

Good luck on your choices but I highly recomend the thundermax auto tune and any good 2 into 1 pipe will give you better performance than a 2 into 2 pipe.
