Default Handlebar install near complete...few problems...

YEah, I got the wires run through the bars and hooked almost all up, went to fire her up, and no headlight. I get a bright when I hit the horn button. Sh7546. Now I have to go through everythin I have done. THe worst incident happend while the tank was resting above the frame rather unsteadily, and I knocked it off and put a small dent in it DOH! I think I can get it out, but first things first. One of the plugs it took a piece out of I cant figure which one it is. DOH. I got the wiring for bars pulled through and followed the instructions and took apart each piece and put it back together just fine, so I am not sure where this piece is from. I suffer from tweakerism sometimes. Oh well, you'll get pics when it will actually run proper. The other problem is i think I lost a fuel filter if my 02 fatboy has one. the gas line that comes out of the left side of tank near the rear connects to another line, but should there be a fuel filter to connect them together? And if that is the case, do I need to reset my tssm or something? I have this goddarn clymer manual which really sux. Im going to the shop right now to see if they have the regular one.

I got the manual. Can someone explain how and where the gas tank connects to the throttle boday? I understand that I need the right pieces for pressurization. Ordered those today. 7-10 days. oh well.

lol. Sounds like you're having "fun" That's how you learn I guess. I did the same thing one time when putting my wires back into the connector I switched 2 wires around....if I remember correctly it was the same deal, high beam and horn. Just recheck those 2 wire and you should be ok.

sorry to hear about the tank, hopefully you can get the dent pulled out.
