Ditto...I paid $900 and got free shipping to Ohio. I contacted the selller and he is not the manufacturer. Mine ended up being the polished version.

I contacted JD and he updated the mounting system at no cost. I just got the unit back with the update.

Who did you buy the system from? Are they still available at that price? I am interested in doing the same. Thanks.

Have searched eBay, and I cannot find the shotgun system.

Are you talking about the update that allows you to change the oil with out removal? How long did it take to get it back? If you haven't installed it could you snap some pics of the upate?

Yep...thats the update. It took about 3.5 weeks total from the time I shipped until I received it back. Note, he promised to turn it in 24 hours but he could not meet that schedule. I am not complaining, he did the update for no charge and even covered return shipping. I offered to pay but he covered it.
