Let me guess....he works for V & H right.....so all you guys who's diggen your Samson's, you better remove them because of what some idiot says working out of a shop in TX......LMFAO!!!!
I'll get right on it........Loven mine bro sorry ...
I hate it when these guys who have no experience in Samson's, then talk $hit...
First, Jerk-off, I wasnt talking sh&t, I said 'for what its worth'. To YOU is was worth nothing. I passed on something that was told to me. The guy doesnt work for V&H and mention a couple of brands he likes better. You like your Samsons? Great. Otherwise F-O.
I have the 28.5" longtails w/ baffles. Installed them myself and had trouble with the rear nut on the back jug also. Never got it real tight, but no leaks. If installing yourself make sure to give this area special attention before putting on mufflers and heat shields or even the new coil bracket. If I was to do it over again I'd get the 33's w/out baffles. Baffles sound good, just not loud enough for me. Samson and my indy sold me on the baffles. Both said injected bikes need baffles and running straight pipes would hurt it. I would get non-baffled and add a thunder city monster baffle if I came into any problems. Dito on the bags. If you run saddlebags get the 33's - that is why Samson made this length. Good prices @ Phat Performance.

The 36"'s are a good length. The 39"'s look great but stick out so far that they really hamper your lean angle. 36"'s are 3" shorter. D'uh. If you don't want them to scrape as much I'd say the 33"'s are the ticket. JayDee's bike is off the hook. If you want a price quote PM us.

If and when I decide to do something I will PM you for a quote. Thanks

For reference I had a bike that had 26"'s and 36"'s on it. They would both scrape on super windy roads, but the 26"'s not nearly as much. Is your bike lowered, and if so how and how much?

What kind of bike are you riden V-TWIN? lets see them pics....
I know mine are not 36"s and they are 28.5" but i have never scrubbed them on any corner. My floorboards hit first. And i've ridden with the thing slammed...So how do you hit your pipes before your boards?...And i've scrubbed my boards (several times) so hard it felt like my bike was on a teeter totter. Now i can see hitten while leaving a drive way or simular.
