Default How to remove Crossbones dash console?

I'm a mechanical derelict, but would like to know how to remove my dash console, as I would like to send it out for painting? Is it simple, or should I leave it up to someone with mechanical skills?

i havent seen a cross bones but i have taken 2 off 2 different bikes, one screw on the top, then you have to un-click the speedo and unclick the wires, label them to put them back easily.

Perfect. I'll give it a whirl. I took that one screw off, and tried to lift the dash off, but it seemed to have a pretty good seal, and I didn't know if I was going to be forcing something off that shouldn't be. Thanks!!

Each of the plugs is propietary and will only go back where it belongs. There is no reason to label them.

Its a piece of cake! Just take the bolt off and unplug the clips! The little black button on the side just gets unscrewed by hand. Very easy!
