Default Question re: installing Breather bolts
Hi Guys,
I am installing Doherty power pacc, I have the breather bolts to attach their breathers, I know I will use blue loctite on the backing plate of the air filter, but will I use on the Breather bolt ?

I thought red loctite will do it, but I guess not, on 'fix my hog' the guy talks about putting "Loctite Pipe Sealer' !

I was wondering where to buy this stuff from ? (I am in Canada we have Canadian tires but not sure what product to look for ?)

Any help will be appreciated

He is probably talking about Loctite 565 or 567 thread sealant.
Try this link to get an idea here
I use loctite blue on my breathers because I don't see it as a serviceable item, however I do use the 565 on my oil drain plugs or anything I will be removing alot.

Blue Loctite will be fine...I use it on everything including the breather bolts.
