Default Deuce Windshield

I just picked up the windshield with mounting kit for $100.00, and it looks brand new! I figures since I will only use it on longer rides that was the perfect price!

cant beat that deal! on long rides with sustained high speed a windshield is invaluable, to me anyway.

Just remember that no windshield is better than a bad one. I tried one on my Deuce, and found that the buffetting made riding with it extremely uncomfortable. I don't use it at all.

If I might make a suggestion, take it out for some test rides before you take off on a longer one. Make sure that the air flow is correct for you.

I've got mine on my Deuce right now and it doesn't give me any problems. Wouldn't go without it on long trips and during these cold months. Can't wait for summer though.. im rippin the sucker off!

I have one that I put on each fall and remove in the spring. As for the wind problem, I think it really depends on the individual. I bought my bike used and it came with the windshield. The previous owner told me that he bought the windshield, but couldn't use it because it redirected all of the wind onto his shoulders. When I tried it for the first time, I was expecting an unpleasant experience, but I found that it work perfectly for me. You'll need to give it a test before setting out on a long ride.

Thanks for the advice, since we just got 12 inches of snow Friday it might be a while before I get out on it.
