Yes it lowered it around 1.5". I want a full 2-2.5" though. The top of my fork boot to the bottom of the tree is now 7" I believe it use to be 8.5" or 8, I'm not sure. If it was 8 then it lowered it an inch.
Thanks man... Like I said in a earlier post Mike a friend of mine took the PVC down to 3.5" and said it went down 1.75" to 2" Thats about all I know until next week when I do my own.
The ride is excellent at that point. I almost forget I have my rear slammed because I believe that the front compensates for the rough ride in the rear. I just want the bike to sit lower. I would Like 2.5" or even 3" in the front.
can anyone give me the measurement form the top of the fork boot to the bottom of the triple tree on a stock softailsitting straight up not on a stand? I cant find that anywhere and mine sits about 6.75. I wondering if mine is already lowered?
Okay I took a half an inch of the spacers. They are now at 4". The top of the boot to the bottom of the tree is now about 6.25". This is what it looks like now.
