Will I have to Change the Kickstand if I lower the rear 2"

Also anyway to drop the fender without lowering the frame?

Hey fellow Rhode Islander... You don't need to get a shorter kickstand lowering the rear 2", and it's probably not worth the aggravation to lower the fender... just put a lowering kit in

I dropped my bike 2 inches and still use the same kickstand. I just have to be careful when I park and put the kickstand on the downhill side.

Dropped mine right at 2 inches runnin stocker kickstand. As far as lowering the fender ummm you don't wanna do that unless u get a custom undrilled fender=Headache. LoL

You can get by without a shorter kickstand but you have to be very careful because the bike will stand alomost straight up. If you park on any incline there is a chance you bike can tip over and believe me it doesn't take much... I rode my bike for a long time with the stock kickstand and never had a problem because I was careful but one day I pulled my bike out in my driveway and the circumstances were just right...I looked at the bike and thought "I don't like the looks of this", still had my hand on the bike and it started to tip and there was no stoppin it. In two seconds it was over and my bike was laying on it's side. ever seen a grown man cry? I'm putting a 1" shorter Arlen Ness kickstand. I found one for around $50...beats the heck out of taking a chance and several $$$ in repairs. Broken brake lever, scratched mirror, and scratched heat shields and I was lucky there was no paint damage, the footboards prevented alot. Probably never have a problem but if you do...you'll remember this thread.
