Hello all. This is my first post, so sorry if i'm a little wordy. Just looking for some specific feedback before I drop a bunch of cash on a new seat. I understand everyone has their own opinion, and in fact thats exactly what i'm looking for. Now to my question, has anyone out there had any experience with Saddleman seats? wondering about the king in particular. Driving to Sturgis in August and don't think the stock seat on my FXSTC is gonna cut it. its comfortable enough, but i'd like a drivers backrest. also i'm a little to close to the pegs, but don't want to get any farther away from the bars. Any and all opinions welcome. Thanks
I got a SaddlemenKing seat with Gel on my NT... most comfortable
seat I ever had ..you can also get a rider backrest too. I have had the SaddlemenKing Seat for 4 years on my NT and won't get another MC without one. The Gel is fantastic...you can't go wrong. Took a trip from Austin to the Grand Canyon two years ago - one month after back surgery, L5S1,.. some days over 700 miles..... no problem riding... at night the back got a little stiff. Yearly go to Big Bend 450 miles..no problems..
Thanks, and yeah i'll definately be looking for a riders backrest as well. Looks like yours is a HD backrest, was that stock or do you know if saddleman makes one specifically for the king? nice looking bike btw.
I have had 2 Saddlemen Explorer with the gel and riders backrest. They are a very well kept secret. The most comfortable seat I ever had. You sit down in the bike and have very good back support. You cannot go wrong with the Saddlemen.
I have a saddlemen explorer 2 up seat on mine with the drivers backrest. It was the first mod I made on my 09 fatboy. Haven't put alot of miles on it yet but hopefully that will change soon.
