snapped a fender bolt today

Default snapped a fender bolt today
Snapped a rear fender bolt on my Bones today. Was switching out the fenders so wife could ride with me tomorrow and snapped the fwd most bolt on the left side(above oil tank). I drilled that damn thing for 2 hours and haven't gotten anywhere. I am using Titanium bits 5/16. I guess I just need to keep drilling. Very frustrating, I snapped one on the other side and it took 30 minutes to drill it and tap it. This bastard though 2hours and I went a half inch. I will try tomorrow after I ride, fenderless. Knowing my luck it will rain......

Try the reverse thread bit, that will screw it out, once it bites, it'll unscrew right out, leave some wd40 sprayed on it for a couple of hours, that'll loosen the bolt, then try drilling.

try smaller bit first then put some ice on the bolt

Can also try using some cutting fluid while drilling.
