warg thanks for the demensions i noticed you have a 06 fatboy,i have 04 fxst will that fit my bike?

It's hard to find **** on ebay sometimes because people word things stupidly.

Here are some from J&P

Scroll down and you'll see the right ones. I like to cut off all the hangy stuff and just drill two holes for the plate and frame (if you use one)

A search for "taillight bracket" brought me several results.

The 1/2" cutout is for the rear brake line.

Not quite, but you have to have enough room for the swingarm and fender extension to move without pinching, cutting or damaging the brake line.
