I just installed VH Big Shot Staggered on my 09 Fatboy. Also changed air cleaner to SE and flashed ECM with TTS Mastertune. Problem is when I started it up, smoke is coming from both o/2 ports (a little more from the rear port). When installing the o/2 sensors, I noticed it was really hard to screw them back into the new pipes but I believe they were snug. I also put anti seize on the threads like the instuctions suggested. Could the burning off of the anti seize be creating the smoke? The smoke does smell a bit so I am hopeful that it is just the anti seize burning off. Is this harmful? I really don't want to have to take the pipes off again, as they were very difficult for me to install. Any suggestions about the smoke? Feeling nervous. Please help thanks!
Frank
When I installed mine I wiped em down with windex before I started it.Anti-seize will smoke some.Should go away fairly quickly. If the sensors are screwed in all the way, don't worry about it.I put the quiet baffles in mine and I could smell the fiberglass packing when I would stop for half a day.
