Default Windshield for 04 Fatboy

I am wanting a detachable king size HD smoked shield. But I am not quite sure what size to get. They list a 23 and 26.And I want one that I can put aux lights on. Is there any problem putting one on without the lights? And adding later. I am 5ft 11.And how do they mount? To the forks or handlebar? The forks have a chrome kit on them.

tracey87, im 5'10" and have the shorter of the two. could even go a bit shorter if i wanted. adding the aux. lights later wiil be no problem. if you live in the country or do alot of night riding you will love them. my windshield is the light smoked version, and has no effect on seeing at night. i just think they look better than the clear. steve

I have the 23 and like it. It mounts to the sides of the fork tins on rubber grommets. The aux light shield is slightly wider than the non light one. If you get the non, you will not be able to use it with the lights. The one for the lights is actually the same as the Heritage. Hope this helps.
