I'm wanting to add auxiliary lighting to be 883L Sportster. Problem is I can't mount them on the front forks because of thewindshield. Anyone have any suggestions? I have been told I could cut out the windshield for the lights or get mounting brackets that extend out farther. Haven't seen this on aSporty yet and am not sure of how either will look. BTW..I'm looking at the Kuryaken brand of lighting since they have something smaller.

Yeh, with a fairing that would be tricky. You might be able to modify a light bar somehow to get it to work.

HD makes a windshield to clear the auxillary lights they sell. Don't know exactly how the brackets are compare to the shield you have, but you can purchase it seperate from all the hardware. You can also get your existing windshield cut to fit around the lights installed. That would probably be the least expensive route.
