Hey guys,

I have recently acquired a 1992 Fatboy that I have been wanting to modify and need some suggestions. Currently, all I have done is remove the sissy bar, passenger pillon, gas cap medalions, and reflectors (yes, they are shown in these pics, but I have removed them...don't throw me to the fire just yet!)

I have a new fender bib, swing arm bag, and tank panel on the way from So Kustom Leather Worx. I'm thinking of lowering the rear a little, getting a new seat, and possibly mods to the lighting.

Would love some advice. Love the chrome, but would like for the bike to look a bit more rugged. Any suggestions???

Rule #1 Loose the side reflectors!
Afte that look through the thousands of Fatboy pics on the Forum and see what you like and maybe don't like. You'll get a lot of fantasic ideas. Send a PM to anyone who has a style you like.

Thanks for the reply. I have removed the reflectors. The pics were taken a day before I removed them. Funny how something so small makes such a difference.

BTW, that's a bad a** bike you got there! What kind of breather is that?

 

Slam it, Chrome lowers would look nice with the wheels.

look at all the parts available and then other bikes and make something no one else has like my tail lamp

 

I'd relocate those turn signals. Maybe start blacking out the parts.

 

take a seat in your garage, drink a few beers and look at your bike. get a vision of what you think a FL schould look like and where you would like to go with it, cruise the fatboy pic threads for ideas. then proceed to make your credit card beg for mercy........
