I tried to awaken my Rocker from it's winter slumber, but no luck. She has been asleep for a few months with a battery tender on. What's happening is, the ignition fuse keeps blowing when the ignition is turned to run. Everything is fine in the accessory position, horn, lights, instruments, etc. but as soon as I move the key to the run position, the fuse pops.
I removed the tender harness thinking that might have gotten nicked or something, but same problem. I also removed the battery cables for inspection but they look good. With the cables off, I turned the ignition to the on position, but as soon as I touch the ground cable to the frame, pop.
I hate chasing electrical gremlins. Anyone have any suggestion on where to start?
