Went to the store today and put the order and deposit on my 2005 FLSTCI. I went with the Lava Red Sunglo. I'm putting on V&H long shots, engine guard and some misc. smaller chrome parts. Also, I'm adding the LED lights on the rear with the brake light and turn signal conversion kit.
I'm going to add the additional 2 years on the warrany just to be safe.
Would like some opinions on chroming the forks now or waiting?
Sorry, you are not "in" until you get the bike, so get "out".
LOL sorry, had to do it, grats on the bike man. If your mechanically inclined do the forks yourself and save on the labor. If not go ahead and have them do it, really makes the bike look better IMHO.
dude congrats on your new ride. I was pretty damn excited when I ordered this year too. that first ride was one of the best days of my life cept of course my kids and wedding.
Have Harley install new chrome parts prior to delivery and they should be covered under warranty. My chrome front end is almost 5 yrs old now with no problems.
