It took me a couple of days to get used to putting
my feet down (when stopping) a little further out than with pegs. The heel shifter is a matter of taste. If you
don't like it you can remove it or leave it and just not use it. Overall I find the boards super comfortable.
The sale of my Train is final so time for shopping.
Thanks to a very good friend, I was able to put about 150 miles on his 2008 Fatboy. Floorboards and heel/toe shifter was easy to get used to. I'm sold on the set up. I would have to replace that stock seat, but I really liked the way the bike handled.
I have the floor boards on my heritage classic and love them. I have just added a new crash bar and am going to put the highway pegs on it but I have not decided which peg to go with just yet. I would not go back to pegs after riding with the boards.
