Here is my newest purchase, I have done the tail light relocation for a sissy bar, now I would like to do an air filter. I have seen many of you guys have a "BIG SUCKER" looking filter with a clean looking round plate on the front of it. Could someone please tell me if it is a big sucker and if so which one is for the 09 night train. Also what plates etc. you guys have put on yours.
I have a Screaming Eagle stage 1 with a K&N filter, if you do that, any HD accessory Air Cleaner cover insert will work like you are talking about. I don't have a pic on this computer, but if you dig around on here, there is a thread I started with a pic of my X-bones
What plates you ask, this is what happens on most rides if I’m lucky. I know filter plate just couldn’t resist I’m thinking about the same air cleaner.
I like the "Big Sucker Kit" better than the HD Stage I... Seen some of the HD filters come apart... And alot of guys have Story do a custom cover for the filter... He does some awesome work.. I assume thats what youve been seeing on here.
I love the Arlen Ness Big Sucker. Almost wish I would've went with that instead. Check out this website if you decide to go with that one. www.AZECE.COM
did someone say "what do i need to buy for my bike?"
thats like asking your wife what she would like you to spend all your money on for her.
escept the bike will make you think you are doing it for yourself lol
but at least you have a good ride assured no matter what day of the month
welcome to the life of spending all your money on your lady-ride
