They are much louder than i expected. I am pleasantly surprised. They sound mean, love it.
Plan on moving up to the 2" baffle when i decide to do the stage 1. Would do it now, but know i need the race tuner, or similar unit. From what I hear, its a piece of cake changing out the baffles.
Can i buy a unit and do my own download? HD dealer charging way too much for the race tuner and download.
I ran the Rush mufflers with the 2" baffles for a year with no tuning and had no problems. Later when I changed the breather I bought the PCV from Fuel Moto. You don't have to download anything. You just call them and tell them what you have. They program it and send it to you ready to plug in. If you change anything, you call them and they will send you a new map to upload.
+1 on checking the plugs. I put on 2" rush slip-ons and my plugs turned chalky-white after about 20 miles. Had to do the tuner, did not want to burn up the eng. I don't know if the 1.75s will turn the plugs, no experience with them.
