Default Softail for small rider?

My wife wants her own Harley. She's 5'1", but doesn't want a Sportster (883 Low).

She's sat on all the bikes at the dealer, but has trouble getting both feet on the ground. Can any Softail be lowered enough for here? (Seat, shocks, etc.)

Wow, 5'1" is pretty short... I'm 5'7" with a small inseam (29"), and I have no trouble at all keeping feet flat on the ground with the FXSTC.

Give that a shot. Your wife would definitely look good on one of these!

(And post some pic's once she selects a ride... with the bike too!)

The fat lo sit lower then the deluxe. Plus you can get it fitted by changing the seat ,handle bars, controls anything to make her feel comfy. Talk to the stealer the will set her up.

I think someone 5'1" is going to have trouble on any bike with floorboards. I'd have her look at a Rocker or Night Rod.

The deluxe is a 1/2" lower than the FB lo with no rider on it. The Lo has already been lowered a bit. If you slam them both the Deluxe is an 1" lower. Just went through this with a buddy's wife. A 5'1"er.

my ex gf is 5'1" and rides a Road King. it's lowered and she has a narrow seat.... plus, she has 2" soles on her riding boots.
