Default Does the computer re-learn?

I had a hole in my fuel line going from my fuel pump to the outlet in my tank. I ran it like that for 3 days. It had a bad deceleration miss and would idle super high. So I replaced the fuel line with gates 5/16 submersible fuel line. All is good but it still idles high. does the computer adjust the fuel map to suite driving conditions or did I foul something up by driving a crappy running bike for 3 days. All thoughts appreciated. 07 softail standard 65,000 miles.

Yes, only takes input from sensors.

Wow! You've got 65k miles on an 07 Standard!! That's sayin' something for sure. Good on ya and your iron butt.

I agree it should relearn but what kind of fuel management are you using if anything?

If you want it to learn faster unhook the neg battery cable for a couple minutes and then it will reset the learned memory.

SERT will learn some as the ECU is the same. It depends on what MAP you have in there and how far away it is from the 14.7 AFR. Just because you have a SERT doesn't mean that it has a real rich map in it

Well the bad mews is that while it was down I decided to adjust the clutch and found the copensator spring basket self distructed. Now I need a new rotor. I hope that was my driveability issue and not a result of another problem.
