Dave, you seem to be the one to ask. Im 5'8 and after a test ride of 30 miles on the Lo (backroads and interstate), yes i was sitting a little forward with the stock bars but liked the sitting position and definitley the look of the stock bars. I had a fatbob a before my Ultra, put 9500 miles on it with no issues with the bars. However the street slammers are growing on me. Dont know how tall you are, but do your bars set you up so much that you feel like a parachute in the wind by sitting upright. Also, your swingarm bag, ive been to garageleather and like their bags, where did you get yours and did you have the embossed design done custom, i would like to do the fire, maltese cross. Thanks. picking up my lo denim black in about two weeks.
I'm 6'1" and those stock bars made me lean way too far forward for my liking. The Street slammers are way more comfortable, but still give that aggressive ride style. I can sit more upright if I need to, but I still lean ahead some. As for the bag, I was one of the lucky few here who didn't get hosed. I love the bag, but it's a touchy subject here.
10-4. sounds like i dont want to know about the bag. thanks for the input on the bars, looks like the way to go. no offense to anybody else because i love the apes a lot but want to stick to the drag look with a little comfort. Thanks again Dave. And to all the troops and your families, thank you for all you do. You guys and girls are in all our prayers.
