Ordered my suicide clutch/jockey shifter. Got an email back from grip ace saying they were ever closer to completing their gripace for can-bus systems. To check back in 30 days.

I've got some new 1" grips I need to slide on.
Any tips on removing the stock black grips?
Usually I've just used an air compressor.

Well the throttle one should be on a sleeve but I used a razor to cut the the other one off just a slit down it length wise.

I dont believe it was it's been a long time. The control clamps do not hold the grip on the left side.

Well I guess I need to get new handlebars and a set of progressive 422s. Got back late Sunday from my ride down to Orlando. Definitely felt the joints going over the bridges and overpasses on I-10 and I-75 South. Maybe I just need to adjust the preload but I'm pretty sure if I didn't bottom out once or twice I got pretty close. I can't wait till I can get some carlini freeway bars and hopefully get an inch or two more pullback. I tried the footrests on the mustache bars and I think I'd be pretty comfortable riding like that if I could get a couple inches or so more pullback on the handlebars. I messed up a little bit with the new AC when I cleaned the bike the night before I left. I taped up the breather bolts to keep the water out and forgot to take the tape off. Finally remembered 350 miles later. No harm no foul according to DK customs. You'd have to use solid breather bolts to do any damage I guess. Anybody have Carlini freeways and if so what did you have to extend like wiring, cables, ect. I know I'll have to do at least an upper brake line (ABS)?

I think the clutch side grip IS held on by adhesive..when I took my stock bars off, i left the grip on because i didn't feel like dealing with it. Take a long flat ice pick or something and start wiggling it under the grip and break the adhesive loose..if you have a heat gun (or hair dryer), try warming the grip up to loosen up the adhesive)

I75 is such a crappy roadway, especially south of I10 once you start getting close to I4 down there.

Figured I'd post up a pic also. It's been a while since I have.
Most recently I put the V&H sideshots on and a LaPera bare bones. And the points cover and derby cover.
Does anyone else have a noticeable gap between their seat and tank? I can see the screw holding on the tank bib now. Nothing I can't cover just seems like the fit is off?
I have a new set of grips and an Arlen Ness big sucker to put on next. Probably this weekend.

And just for the record, putting a new exhaust on is a b*tch of a task. Me and my good friend spent the better part of an hour trying to get the headers to even mate to the damn cylinders with the clamps lined up properly. I had to brace my foot against the frame and pry the exhaust just enough to get it around the front cylinder fins. Fun stuff. I probably won't be changing the exhaust again anytime soon.

Just letting you I have listed on eBay a cool detachable sissy bar and pad that has the docking point tab modified to fit on standard docking points without relocating turn signals. The eBay listing is: 161277347559.
I've had it on classified here for awhile but no action. I don't have the Lo any longer (I do kinda miss it though sometimes). I have other 2011 Lo take offs posted too so let me know if you're interested.
