It is your canvas, paint your picture and show it off...
I just bought a 2015 fat Boy Lo vivid black.I never owned a Harley before and I still can't believe it's really mine.Im getting a set of Vance and Hines slip ons installed so I haven't taken it home yet.All these pics of these mods are amazing. My last bike was 2002 shadow Sabre 1100 and it feels good making the jump to a Harley.
Congrats.. Now hurry up and hide your credit cards.
Man, those guys at C&C are on the ball. I ordered my seat late Friday afternoon and Chuck said it should ship by Wednesday. Already got a tracking number last night.
Between that and happily answering all of my questions and sending me tons of pics of the product they offer truly great customer service.
I ordered my new Truck-Lite headlight on the weekend (it is going to match my driving lights) and Alloy Art Strut signals today. When the signals show up, they are off to the powder coater's along with the Wind Deflectors to be powdered HD Black.
That's it for my winter mods, go figure, I really found it hard to keep the credit cards in my pocket...More money for the road trips this year.
Got my C&C Seat in and mounted on the bike. Looks really good. I went for the smoother vinyl on the face and the "mercedes" texture on the back and sides and I'm happy with the choice. I have to push down on it pretty hard to get the rear screw in but Chuck doesn't seem concerned about it so I'll see. Maybe it will be easier to install after it's on the bike for a while. It also squeaks a bit when I first sit down and when I shift my weight... like the vinyl or carpet is squeaking against the rear fender strut or something. Perhaps that will lessen after a few miles as well. I haven't ridden it except just for a few minutes around the neighborhood. It looks like the weather should be good this week for riding to work so I should get to test it out a bit.
