I don't know if I actually fit in this category. But, I just bought a Fat Boy a couple days ago. It has been lowered 1 1/2". But its OLD SCHOOL like me. 1996 EVO. Has many custom hand built things. The guy I bought it from is 78 years old, and has been metal fabricating and building street rods since he was 15. It has been setting for 3 years. So I am starting the process of going through it. Check out the custom stainless pipes he had built. They have a turbine like fan up in them (where they straighten out down the side). I thought they would be hot, but only noticed the heat sitting still. As long as you are rolling they are fine. So anyway, this is my 1st Harley. Its not a new "LO" but it sits like one. Actually so low, I am thinking of raising it back to stock.
So your bag is only anchored to the steel plate by the two other bolts? Just flip the bolt and drill another hole in the bag. Acorn nuts on the inside by the way and no knuckle busters.
No, there are 4 bolts up above that hold the bag onto the steel plate (and another steel plate inside the bag). You just can't see them in the pic. I got a piece of threaded rod and cut it down at my buddy's shop to make some shorter studs so all is well now.

Well OK then. Man, steel plate inside and out, that thing ain't going anywhere! I felt kinda overkill just having a steel plate on the outside. lol
No! No more parts! The bank account can't take any more abuse.
I almost put a SG in its place in the garage. Maybe right beside it since I just paid it off. It took two years, but I no longer have to make any more payments!

Edit: Found what I was looking for. The bike belongs to FatBoy2five0
Hoping you guys can direct to the right person/fatboy. I swear I saw a picture of someone that put on a new clean rear fender and a wider tire. License plates and lights were off to the left.

If I would have spent the money on my payments instead of parts, my bike would probably be paid off by now too. But it's only money and what fun would that have been? I am getting close though......to paying the bike off I mean.
