1) Jim..erm..Other Jim..the blue/black look is (IMO) much hotter than the red/black look..but if you were going to do that, a deep deep blue would look really good, especially if you could find a way to do a color-matched accenting throughout the bike.. like maybe a dark pinstriping along the oil tank/frame or something.. otherwise it mght just stick out like a sore thumb.. idk.. yeah.
2) I was just mentioning rattle-canning my headlight trim, but does anyone know which can would match the vivid/gloss black the closest? Like I don't want to go out and pick up a can of Krylon Gloss Black and see in the end that they're different tones, ya know?
I've decided that I'm not doing either. But these are the ones I'm saving for below. I was thinking though of painting the rest of my existing wheel matte black to match the rest of it and putting a red pinstripe on it like in the picture here until I can buy these.
Riley, I think you found the perfect solution...however I ran it past my wife and she said she would leave me if that happened. I am sure going to miss her.

I agree, you can't change the Denim. On the other hand, you can't walk away from the $2K freebie. Thus, the only logical thing to do is buy another Harley Davidson with a crappy paint job and get her taken care of.
Black gloss flames on the black denim.
Nothing too much or with too much coverage, just some nice subtle gloss black flames that would work well with the flat black base.
