What aux light kit did you get? Right now I plan on just getting the freight train nacelle without aux lights, but at one point I was debating getting the "Deluxe"Aux Kit and powdercoating it black. I also like it because it gets the turn signals off the handlebars.
I also really like the "Custom" Aux Kit because it doesn't have the bar across the front and I can also relocate my turn signals from the handlebars to the aux light bracket, but the Harley fitment description says it isn't compatible with the Wind Splitter windshield that I plan on getting...
i bought the HD kit that will hold the lights. bought the sunpie kit that comes with the headlight and passing lamps all for 99 bucks. I bought an extra wiring harness that another member told to get that will hook into a aux plug thats under the tank, i also bought black trim rings from harley to replace the chrome ones that come for the passing lamps so no need for powder coating.. i bought most of it from Boardtracker HD. paid about 50 bucks less than it would of been from the HD site.

OK, your parts come in tomorrow, so pics by Sun, Mon at the latest. No goofin off.
There is a hole in the back of the triple tree cowling on the clutch side that was made for Aux light switch.
I also got my hands on some braided cable covering to protect the cables. Most of the kits come with a plastic shielding to cover the wires. It looked awful with the plastic covering.
Hi guys, i don't post very often, but read this regularly. i was just looking for opinions about what you guys like better. I have the mirrors with LED in the stems from the V rod. my question do you like them on top or down below better? i can't seem to decide what i like better. The wiring is a bit of a pain so i don't want todo it again. Also
does anyone know of a small waterproof connector to use so i could change these easily in the future?
I'm not crazy about the mirrors period, but I'll go with Freak on this one, keep em up top. Even though I like mirrors down I just don't think those look right down there.
