I was able to find some Harley Saddle Bags off Craigslist for $150 and installed them...I also bought the $70 (off Amazon) LED HD Knockoff Headlight and the Brightass light Bal-1 Tail light. I think she is coming together nicely. Looking for some black highway pegs for my engine guard next. I also bought that upgraded Speedo gauge. Don't know why the picture is upside down? I think next will be the Grasshopper backrest. Of course, I told my wife when I bought the bike, "It has everything I need, so don't worry, I'm not buying stuff to put on it". RIGHT.
found my light problem. the plug came with the light kit, it was added inside the headlight housing. as soon as we unplugged this then we unplugged the other harness then reconnected and directly plugged the headlight back in and everything worked. don't even know what this thing is supposed to do
That's good to hear Dan, glad it was simple. Bike is looking good!
Scott, got an up close picture of the new speaker on your bars? I would love to hook up speakers, but on some crash bars. But only if i could hear them clearly at speeds of 65 to 70 without sounding like being in a tin trash can
Also, could that extra plug that i have left over support powering a power amp?

Extra plug should be used as low voltage. An AMP should be wired directly to battery.
Speaker rocks around town, I will give you an update once I get back from trip.
Use extra power for a USB bar mount plugin, GPS, etc.
Tough to mount my speaker to crash bars. I am not a fan of the bullet speakers on my bars or anywhere else on my bike. My opinion is they are Fugly.
yeah, that's why i'm having such a tough time deciding if i want to do it or not. Found a guy who puts speakers in a 5 1/4 inch headlight housing.. but not sure i wan to do it. although i still might do the crash bar, but undecided about that too
