yeah, that's why i'm having such a tough time deciding if i want to do it or not. Found a guy who puts speakers in a 5 1/4 inch headlight housing.. but not sure i wan to do it. although i still might do the crash bar, but undecided about that too

There is a guy in the Dyna section "Joe The Powder Pro" not sure his handle here. He does fork bag stereos. When I lived over there, I saw some good reviews.
i'm killing myself over what to do. could you install vented lowers with speaker pods onto a crash bar on the lo?
I'm betting it's possible, check the standard crash bar and compare it to a Road King. I think its about the same radius, if so then lowers from a touring bike would fit. Also check Sumax, they make all kinds of **** to convert Softails and Dynas to baggers
but then maybe with the way they would be pointed, i might not be able to hear them.. i don't know. as of now i listen to music with my mp3 player, but every time i'm next to a tourning model i start thinking of ways to do it.. i don't think i would mind speakers on the crash bars, i would mount them some they came under the top bar and pointed up. but they would have to be pretty loud to over power my shortshots.. i just wants some good bass response and not sounding like tin cans
i have a set of these coming. just don't want to do crash bars but i need to be able to stretch my feet out. i've give a review once i get them on ad ride.. another member recommended them to me, hope they work out
