I just went to the dark side my friend...just traded my Lo for a 2013 Ultra Limited. After having a touring model for so long, and then going to a Softail was a big switch for me. Don't get me wrong, there was nothing wrong with the Fatboy Lo, I just wanted more comfort, tunes and the local Hog Group all have comms and I felt left out. I can't say a I got the best deal...who can when you are trading in a bike. Anyway keep with it, your looks great!
our kind are fading fast. my bike is heavy enough. not saying he is, but i love the old men who buy a touring bike but later complain they aren't strong enough to keep it up and go to a trike.
same here. i am one who solely believes you should be able to flat foot your motorcycle. i see so many people buy bike who can't put two feet on the ground and believe they have total control over the bike. anyone can ride it in a straight line, but if you need to put your feet down fast, and can't..ugh.. if i'm ever in a group and i see that person i stay as far away as i can
I like these since I am able to rest my left heel on the floorboard and the ball of my foot on the highway peg. I could not find any markings so again, I have no idea who makes them; however, they match my other pegs, floorboards and brake pedal so I suspect they are Harley items. Here are a few more pics of them:
Bob, I really like these, they look much better than the kuryakyn cruise arm mark iv's that I have on my lo. However, I wondered whether they would only further limit the lean angle and so I emailed the company (Aeromach) and here's their response:
"We had a customer bring his Fat Boy Lo over and we did not feel comfortable with the Crusin Pegs on that model. It will definitely scrape. The lean angle was reduced by almost 2 inches. I can't recommend them."
What's your experience with them? It's hard to believe that they would result in that much less clearance. For me, any less clearance (let alone 2") would be unacceptable. Have you scraped on cornering and if so, where do you notice the damage... near the rear of the floorboard or is it on the fitting connecting the cruisin pegs?
Thanks!

general question. dose the wife or girlfriend ever dress up hot sexy time? my wife knows i like when she wears a dress, so once in a while she throws on a really really short skirt and heels for me and asks if i'm in the mood to get freaky.. mind you i'm 50 and she's 55, i feel pretty lucky.. Anyone else
Best of both worlds, turn your Lo into a bagger! Feet on the ground, cumfy, tunes, bat wing, bags, you can add anything you like to customize it to look like a bagger...But underneath, it is still a Lo!
