Waiting to hear the full scoop after you ride it like that for a while. How is the difference in handling?
Rides great! Suspension is smoother guessing because of the extra sidewall. Less of a kick in the back. 6k miles in as of Aug 16, 2018, and the tire still looks like new. Totally recomend it. Installed a 205/55-17. Federal 595.
Just traded on my Sporty for 2016 Fatboy Lo. Love it. You guys have given me so many good ideas. I would really like to change out the rear taillight. Anyone have any suggestions? Or what you used? Would like more visibility with the rear taillight. LED options? Pictures to come got a good ride this weekend.
Get one of those flashing LED taillights. I've got one on mine that flashes when I hit the brakes, gives me a lot of peace of mind that some yahoo won't run into my back.

I have their smoked laydown LED tail/brakelight and I also added their LED turn signals, front and rear. Very happy with all of them. Much, much better visibility than stock. Easy installation, I've had them almost 2 years, trouble free.

I have the lay down smoke Kuryakyn LED but if I had to do it again I would get the Custom Dynamics with the flickering option. I also have the Kuryakyn curved lay down license plate above it. Really cleans up the look on that back end. Mine is a 2010 and has the older electrical system. You should be plug n play with all the cool things without balancers.

I have the smoked Bright-Assed- Lights BAL2. Not cheap, but after a couple of failures of other "name-brands", I've had no issues here. Also, its programmable and even more importantly, BRIGHT AS F**K! no one ignores this brake-light.
Well I broke down on the Lo today for the first time. It was very hot and I was coming up to a stop light and she stalled. I rolled her into the gas station and let her cool down about 20 minutes and she started up and I was able to ride about 10 minutes albeit I could only go 30 MPH and it stalled again as I slowed for another stop light. I did not want to chance getting stranded again so I got a tow from HOG to my house. Any ideas of what to look for? Could the bike getting hot cause it stall?
