Beeble - I think we're on the same page for upgrades. But I'm about to put the pipes on and I'm worried the 2-2's will be overly loud. Don't want any tickets. How's the sound? I mean if you're not in an area that tickets for noise...great! But sadly...I am. Just wondering if I shoudl get the BSS (which allows for Quiet Baffles) or the 2-2?
Bike looks great!
Thanks
JBG click on my link to here the V&H exhaust in a car park
I had the big Radius on my Road King, I honestly don't think they were so loud that you would get ticketed.....they sound good and aren't REAL loud til you romp on it. A friend of mine had a dyna with Rush slip ons with 2" baffles. His was louder than mine at idle

Thanks,
So, my bike is loud... i wouldnt say obnoxiously loud, because I love the sound, but my wife says when I take off from the garage she can feel it shaking in our bedroom (wow... I guess she could mean something else... ).
I do think if you are somewhere you can get tickets, then you might... or at least pulled over and harassed.
But I say screw it, do it anyway, you'll be happy!
Hey fellow badd *** bike owners!
My Lo is almost complete, but the other upgrades are probably to future, so here is what I got for now.
The last couple upgrades are all black Mammoth 52 fat spoke wheels and blacked out lower fork legs.
Enjoy guys! You know I am!!

Nice additions. I'm liking that licence plate frame. What kind is that?
I'm Thinking about the same pipes.
I narrowed search to the V&H curves or the Supertrapp drag longs.
V&H curves questions:
How much exhaust do you get on your rims?
Does passengers feet touch pipe, looks like they may rest their toe on pipe?
Supertrapp:
do the ends rub on ground?
Thanks
Jeff
UPDATE : The right side of the rear wheel has some black dust on it. I am not sure if the black dust is soot from the exhaust or if it is brake dust (the caliper is also on that side).

What did you use for the flat black accent paint? Did you get HD black denim mixed up, or use something off the shelf?
