I am wondering if the FuelPak is necessary though or is it alright just to run the pipes.
No. If you're just adding pipes, you're fine without the FuelPak. But it'll cool it down a lot. Mine was riding really hot before I added the Fuel Management. You should eventually do the Air and Fuel Management.

Good to know. Also where do you guys get your HD parts from? The dealers? or is there an online place to get them cheaper?
First post here with a few pics. I've added Supertrapp Mean Mothers exhaust, AN Big Sucker, and TMax w/AT. Handlebars are next, I'm thinking Wild 1 Chubbys.

Are you thinking of powder coating that license plate? I've looked everywhere for that wrap around plate holder in black and can't find it.

I actually had it glass bead blasted at a metal shop to take the luster off the chrome. It matches the satin finish perfect. Not really noticeable in the pics with the glare.
