Anyone found a rear fender trim that fits the Lo?
Dealer told me HD doesn't make one

HD actually sells these small black plastic covers that go over the strut bolts. They were gloss black and I just sprayed them with the flat black.

Did a couple of quick mods - first painted the back of my license plate and all the nuts flat black until I can decide exactly what kind of plate holder to buy. I also painted the bolt heads on the rear fender struts gloss black to match the struts. I am going to paint the struts and belt guard flat black over the winter. Hope to get some good pics in the AM and will post them as soon as I do.

Well, I put some CycleSmith long banana floorboards on a couple days ago. I love em. I think they will really fit into the grand scheme of things as soon as I get my BR Custom sweeping beaters on. That will be my next pic!

Crank the bike for a minute or two until pipes are warm to the touch.Spray Easy Off oven cleaner on the rubber and wipe off.Clean pipes with some other cleaner afterwards.

I agree...it's not the same as the chrome ones were. HD doesn't even offer anything to clean the black pipes with yet. Just like they don't offer half the parts I want in black yet!!

What have you guys done for the chrome front fork caps? I want them black but don't know whether to powdercoat or paint.

I hope to eventually change out the lowers to black ones. Until then, I'm living with the chrome. If you think you'll change out for the black lowers in the future, just get the black covers. They're freakin expensive!
