I just sent mine off today for it's 5K mile service. They're washing her for me too. Now I just hope I can talk them into giving me a new rear tire under my tire warranty. I've never gone through a tire in 5K miles.
Good luck with that one . . . these new tires sure wear out fast.
I have 7500 on mine and will need a new one sooooon.

Score one for me! I just asked them to look at the tire. Next day I called to see what they thought and they had already gotten a new tire approved and installed. I had 4900 on the first one and it was almost bald. I can't believe how fast it went. I'm not that aggressive of a rider. It should have gone to at least 8500. One thing though...I do have the tire warranty.
My bike has 6,745 on it and the front tire is "coping" according to the HD dealer. They stated low tire pressure was the cause. I'm going to need a new tire soon. Wish I had the tire warranty although I doubt they would replace since it was low tire pressure. I'll keep checking it now.
Two questions:
1. Since lo's have been out for over a year now, I'm sure most people on this thread will need tires soon. If you already replaced your tires, what was your mileage? Trying to get an average here.
2. If anyone has a 2011 can they please post a pic of the tac. I have yet to see one and am curious on how the tac looks.

guess you are the lucky one. I do not believe I was offered a tire warranty. I was able to buy a tire for $50 from a buddy that was changing to a 50 series from the stock 55 - so was in the right place at the right time for that one. think I will wait till spring to install it, because it appears that I will have to pull the mufflers to get the axel out, why HD installed it from that side is a puzzelment.
Awesome thread! I just purchased my bike 2 weeks ago, had V&H 2 into 2 put on it and the stage 1 download..... and was happy until I read through this thread. ALL the bikes on here look awesome.
I have a question about the passenger seat. When I take mine off there is a plastic sheet that is on the fender. If I take that off, when I put the seat back on for a passenger do I need to put something under the seat to keep it from scratching the fender?

Thanks!
Yes you will. You can get the fender bib to cover the tape when the passenger pillions not on there.
