The only reason I did the relocation was because the dealer gave me everything like the backrest, detachable hardware, and relocation kit when I bought the bike. I just got it about 2 weeks ago and figured why pay them 150 to put it on when I can always try myself and if I screw up i can just take it down there. Good news is I didn't screw up. Now looking for the next thing to do. #1 on my list is exhaust, probably 2 into 1 because #2 on my list is Road King bags.
First time posting I have a 10 lo denim so far just throw over bags sissy bar and rush slip ons after reading all 181 pages I have so many ideas and wants you all going to cost me $$$$ but it's all good just bought lower forks off eBay sending out to be powder coated as well as light console and few other parts post pics as it goes thanks for this thread great bikes seems like great bunch of riders as well ride safe
I ordered the hogrida tag bracket and it doesn't appear to be compatible with my bike. I haven't done a lot of digging underneath the fender to see if theres a way to make it but but short of the long is the stock bracket mounts with 3 screws into the fender, and the hogrida has 3 studs on it.
I am waiting on a response from Brian to see what my options are with his bracket but does anyone else have any recommendations for something similar incase i can't use it? I really loved how simplistic this bracket looks compared to some of the other options out there.
The Hogrida works fine on the stock Fatboy Lo rear fender. I had to flatten mine out a bit (the hogrida, not the fender ) for it to match the curve of the fender.
When you take off the stock tag mount, you need to get under the fender to put a wrench on the bolts. When you put the hogrida on, just re-use those bolts.
I would have to say enter it in the Big Twin Class. Reason is that the Custom class will be a lot of Custom frames and 1 off builds, The Rat class is close but I see Rat bikes as older rusted and faded bikes. And the radical Class could be in your ally but again the will be a lot of custom made and 1 off parts in that class. I guess if you knew the what was going to be there it would make the choice much easier.

Yea, that's what I was thinking also. But you can see why I'm asking and I don't know who is all in it. I know of some chopper friends of mine that will and some 1 off's.
