Got a big surprise tonight. Rode over to a local cruise night at the Famous Daves BBQ here in town. They have a nice cruise night every wed night. Cars, Trucks and Bikes. usually includes some sort of food discount too. Real good turn out tonight with 25 or 30 cars/trucks and maybe 30 bikes. At 8pm they announced the winners for each class, best car, best truck, best bike and best in show. I was very very surprised when my name was announced as the bike winner. While I have done some things to the bike, there are so much more that I want to do. It was nice to see that someone else must like where I am headed.
I am sure that felt good. Did you get some free food or something out of the deal??

On the other hand, one of the local bike nights held each Wednesday night at one of bars may have over 100 bikes sitting in the parking lot(s) many of which are fully decked out.
I remember the first time I took a photo which was published in a magazine. It felt good. Then later I got a cover shot with a several page layout. It felt even better. Then I got published by a magazine that is published on two different continents. It probably can get addicting if you let it.

After a local run, I attended a local car/bike show since I didn't want to go home yet. However, there were more bikes on the run since the so-called car/bike show only had around 5 bikes entered. It was very disappointing, especially considering the car/bike show was held behind a custom motorcycle shop though they did have to compete with a nearby car show at the same time.
