I blame Lawley for this! Now I have go shop for a rear fender. Just got off the phone with my painter and said get all parts before he matches the denim. Actually I blame HD for keeping their paint recipes secret. Oh well winter it is before all said and done.
Included in my Lo bagger plan was a dual exhaust. I was gonna go with the black duals from Samson, but with the side profile and the almost old school look of the bike, I decided that I am gonna do the duals with Fishtails. From the side profile shot, what is everyones opinion on pipe color, chrome or black?
It may be easier to decide when the fenders are actually painted and on the bike.

Dragonfly also makes an extended rear fender for the 200mm, I actually ordered one a few months back but cancelled it, as the people there were not too sure of a shipping time. Didn't seem like they cared enough to get my business either. Sumax is the way to go buddy. Do it up, can't wait to see how it turns out!
Jim I thought about the bag extensions too, but then it will bring me to the original problem of the bags being longer than the fender, plus with the style of fillers I have, it may not look right.

If it were me (lol I always say that) I would get un-painted bag extensions and cut them to the length desired. You've gone this far, You might as well make it the way you see it in your head, whatever it takes bro.
On another note: Last night I was showing my wife your sled and telling her how much I liked the set up and how moddified bag extentions would look good on it etc... and she had a f%*king fit! Haha, she saw that look I get when I see something I like and she thought I was going to re-mod my LO. I had to assure her that was not the case, but lucky for her that I have a bagger already.
It also looks just fine the way you have it set up.
Lawley hope u give us a pic before the bags go on and painted. I assume you rear fender doesn't conflict with stock hitchhiker seat and a detachable sissy bar.
I think you should put on the biggest bags you can find, including one of the Ultra Classic Luggage boxes (whatever they're called), and when we're in Sturgis in 2015 for the 75 year anniversary of the event, you can carry all my stuff around for me. Because all I'll have is a MotherWell Luggage Rack.

You make a valid point, That would probably work. For now I think I will see where I am at with the new fenders and hopefully the exhaust soon. The wife is kinda pissed at all the money I have been spending.

I will definitely take more pics when I start to install everything after paint. The stock seat still works just as if it were the original fender and the fender does not change the way a sissy bar mounts so it still works. I didn't use the docking hardware when I mocked it up so I did not get any pics with that on. But I will definitely get them all when it goes back together next time.
Im new as it gets to the forum and havent done much to my lo yet. Just changed out the bars, lights, and fuel caps. Bought Bassani firesweeps and a power commander but had to go back to afghanistan before i could get them installed. Basically wanted to say hi and check out everyone's rides. They all look awesome.
