I talked to my dealer and was going to try this but the said it would not work on the 2011 and up bikes. The nighttrain console also has a trip reset button hole in the side. It works for the 2010 model year. I hope to get mine PC'd gloss black.

I called today and ordered my Magnum black pearl cables from BR as well. He is going to send me the correct length cables for my setup and he had a good price as well. I still plan to order the Namz extensions tho.

I was thinking of some appliance paint because I saw a thread about painting the fork lowers with it (I also would like to try).
I removed mine and taped up and rattle canned it last year, I put 5 coats on and baked it in my oven between coats 250 for 15 min each time.... Krylon semi flat, I've used it on many parts with no problems, did my lowers the same way, and used heaters, never took them off, I just bought a new set to powdercoat, but since I did them 5k ago still looks good, my buddy's cant tell I didn't P'coat

On the topic of spray paint. I've been thinking of painting some of my parts like the shift levers and brake levers. What paint is the best match for the wrinkle finish? I might just break down and buy a can of the harley paint but when I saw it in the dealer it was something like 23.00 a can.

I just installed a nighttrain console on my 2012 fatboy lo. No issues. There is a small hole on the left side but it is barely noticable.

I wasnt aware that FB tanks changed in the last 4 years? Either way, Randy from RWD probably can make something work. He made sure I got a 9.25" rear fender made for the Lo.

There are a couple of local stores here called Leather Headquarters that sell pretty much anything that will fit a bike or its rider. However, I could not really give you a part number for the bag. They do have an online website, but the last time I checked it was not like an online store with a checkout. Sorry.
