oh yeah, one other thing.

the manual says to adjust the shocks on the jiffystand. I found putting it on a jack makes it waaaay easier.

and do be sure to put the same number of turns on both.. although I don't think the world will end if they are slightly off, as I believe some of the more advanced systems use the 2 out of synch to provide enhanced rebound/preload.

Oh, I like those. All their products say they fit 2010 and earlier though.

If you're gonna buy new shocks for your Lo to raise it one inch you're better off getting the aftermarket ones from Progressive shocks for about the same price. They come in the same size as the stock OEM shock and are far superior in suspension capabilities.

If you sometimes ride with a passenger and got a little extra change in your pocket I would go for the Progressive (RAP) shocks. They adjust for the added weight by just turning a **** mounted on the frame next to the rear left passenger peg. Then you will never have to climb underneath the bike again to adjust the shock for the added weight of a passenger.

I have lowered my bike 1.5 to 2" I left the shocks set to 3 turns I believe. The brief test ride in 25 deg weather felt good and I liked how it rode. I will give it the next season to see how the shocks do and if they don't make me happy I will look into the new progressive RAP's or maybe the shotgun's if they figured out a way to mount the compressor with the ABS bikes.

I lowered mine 1.5" with this kit. I had to go 4 turns out to keep from bottoming out on the bump stop. I might get under and back it off 1/2 turn at a time until it hits, then take it out 1/4 turn or something. The ride isn't too bad at 4 turns, but a little softer would be better. You can definitely feel it when you hit the bump stops.

Same kit I have on mine. They used to say it will lower 1.5 to 2" but now I guess it is revised. I never measured the end result. But by looking at the bike and sitting on it you can tell it is lower. I have not bottomed out yet with 3 turns but then again I am riding solo these days.
