Sgt Jim, Misbehaven, thanks a bunch for your genius ideas and advices. I did overlook many little things while trying to literally force the rack on top of the fender. Of course, many of these ad-ons don't automatically come with clear instructions, or there is no instructions at all. But I have LO's brothers to back me up as always. LOL. Thanks again.

I love this Forum and appreciate all of your ideas and helps. This is where I spend the money... oops, time to read and learn from others. LOL. I have tried to post my bike's image, but after a day or so, the pic was deleted. So, it's now included within my signature, which I just learn how to display it today

I had my motherwell rack for about a year before I figured out it slides in to the notches on the thumbscrews.. and even then, i only put it there by accident..then my brain clicked on and was like "wtf"

No wonder its end was angled up ward when I tried to tighten the two screws down. I was so close to bending and straightening out the rack on the bench vise. Sooooo stupid if I did. I'm glad I ask you guys first. Many thanks.
Well started the front turn signal relo and got half way though and ended up with the entire bar apart.. if it wasn't for one plug and the brakes lines would have probably ended up just doing the whole swap.. needless to say after cutting the lights i realized when i take the bike in Thursday they could have pulled the wiring cables all the way through without cutting them.. After going to 3 stores trying to find the proper heat shrink I lost one of my ends that goes into the plug, it went down hill from there.. So I put it all back together and will have the dealer finish the wiring.. Im sure that will cost me..
I also bought a football and cut out the ring to go on my big sucker, but do not have the proper tools to finish it up...And work has me heading out TDY shortly.. Any of you guys who have done them be willing to quote me off line what it would take to have you finish it up professional like?

The only power tool i used on mine was a dremel cutter to actually cut the ring out.. to smooth out the edges, a simple rough hand file IMO works the best.. i feel i had more control over it than if I had used a grinder or something..that's it, paint the edges and you're done
I know that a few of the Los here are running the Street Slammers and i went to the dealership the other day to buy some but I saw the Swingbacks, now I am waffling. Anyone have them yet?
