I've never thought of or heard this about the thermoplastic 'pavement signs'. Thanks for that tip! I've slipped on them in parking lots with wet shoes so it makes perfect sense! I'll be watching for that at stops.

I replaced the stock fuel cap gauge with the blue LED flush mount set-up. That one's another story as well if I accelerate real quick on something like a 1/2 tank. Lights may drop two full lights then come back up after the bike settles back down to crusing speed. That one is more of a warning for me to check the fuel guage/indicators on the speedo if anything or at least that is how I view it.

When it gets wet is like stopping on ice...Also, if you find yourself in a hard braking situation and that is in your path, the rear wheel can lock up on you instantly...You may not be able to avoid them, but be aware that it is an instant trip to the pavement if you are not careful...

Do you regret buying the LED cap now, or is the "look" worth the money?...I REALLY like the way that looks...

More or less bought my cap because it matched the other one. Had there been an option for one without the gauge I would have gone that route. But the blue lights are cool.

Does anyone have a set of "fangs" that have been PC'd flat black? If so, can you post pics? I have a FB Lo with a windshield. I'd like to install the fangs for air management, but I'd really like to see what they would look like on my bike.

No, I don't regret the purchase and I like the flush look of both the replacement gauge and fuel cap. The black goes well with my tank and the blue LED goes well with the colors I have set up for the speedo. To me, it's no different than buying some bling which has no real function.

I've been wondering myself. It has the same front end, so the only issue would be the tire rubbing. I might just bite the bullet and give it a try. I think it would look killer on my Lo.

Are you describing what was happening to me the other day? You must be there looking at me riding from behind or some thing. Just barely moving from left to right in within a street lane, I had to hit the brake slightly to reduce some speed, and as my bike passing through the 'dark patch' in the middle of the lane, its tail started to wag from side to side! It scared the s**t out of me. I wasn't riding faster than 40 mph and the sky was bright, in the mid day at around 90F warm.
