Hey guys, been kinda MIA on this thread and completing the mods on my bike for a bit, but for a good reason.
At 2:25pm on Thursday, my 2nd son was born in record time and in perfect health. My wife is awesome too...toughest person I know, no epidermal to kill the pain, just a little something to take the edge off.
This all relates to this thread because I will be home a lot to help the wife, but at the same time, I'm gonna to finish all of the mods I've got stashed in the garage simply because we won't be going anywhere for a month or so.
Jacking the bike up and pc'ing the tubes along with a bunch of other stuff, throwing on the shot gun...maybe even have time to meditate on a seat design!!!!
Anyways, welcome to all of the new Lo guys, i agree we should have our own forum. Its gonna be a bitch for me to copy so many pages and boil it down to the meat of the thread, but it's still a goal I have set.
well, This is as good a place as any to ask. The dealer said I had to spray a sealant on the black denim parts of the engine after I wash it? If this is true, what do you guys use? 200 miles in the rain, it won't be pretty tomorrow.
never heard of that myself either.. though if anything use the HD Engine Brightener or the S100 engine cleaner.. they're both pretty much the same product (silicone) with different price tags.
I use Windex to clean the denim paint. Spilled gas on the paint once. It left a stain and I thought the paint was screwed. Shot some Windex on it, wiped with a microfiber rag and it was good as new.
Hey all, Im thinking about purchasing the Shotgun shocks air suspension for my fatboy lo. Any of us out there already have these installed. Would appreciate hearing from you, input thoughts? Thanks and be safe out there!
