I need help. I'm trying to set PIN for security. I followed the instructions, when it gets to the part where you press left signal 2 times and "ENTER PIN" is supposed to show up. Doesn't happen, nothing happens. Called service and they want me to bring it to them.
Could it be because I had speedo changed to this one?
I dont know if it's because I have a different speedo..but when I set my pin for my security system, it didn't say "enter pin".. the screen showed "- - - - -" and each flashed individually, then i used the trip-o-button to enter the numbers.. but this is on a 2010 model.
Went for a ride today with the local H.O.G. chapter. After an hour or so the pain in my *** gets unbearable. Been looking at either the Mustang wide touring, one or two piece, or the Saddleman explorer. Looked at Corbin but seems kinda pricey, are they really worth it? Does anyone have any experience with any of these? Pros? Cons? Ideas?

I've got the Mustang wide touring on my Lo. I love it!

I just wish that mustang and the others would give us the option to use the factory seat mounting. If I switch then I can't use my fender bib or solo rack. The wife has a Mustang wide vintage on her sportster and loves it.

I noticed that, looks like I would have to remove the studs and then use that hole thats got the plastic plug in it, wouldnt be that bad with the passenger seat installed but running with the solo seat kinda opens a can of worms. It's always a series of changes with this kinda stuff, very rarely is it a simple R&R.
Fat11LO, I bit the bullet and bought the Corbin seat. By far the best mod I have done to my bike. I had the same issue. Even after a short ride my *** hurt. The corbin took care of it. I also added 6" pullback risers on the stock handlebars. The more upright position also helps with the pain in the ***.
