Well, she's got new vocal cords on the way. Went for the Rush 2" slip ons after some thought. I was going to go with a full exhaust, but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for (basically something like the V&H Longshots or Cobra Speedster Longs but in black), so I figured $350 now is a lot better than $600-700 for something I don't fully like. Plus, with an HD gift card from the bike purchase and money from the 2 up stuff off my Nightster, nothing was out of pocket. Just gotta wait til they get in...
On top of that I'm leaving for Korea in March, so no point in doing a ton of work now when I can't enjoy it for a year.
The Rush Full exhaust system is good with the 2" baffles. I like mine. They are less expensive than VnH. No complaints after 12,000 miles with them. Good Luck in ROK. Don't catch anything. You're gonna have a blast. Ride safe.

Actually, I found where the Rush full exhaust systems were and cancelled my muffler order and got the black Rush straight cut longs. They come with a 1.75" baffle, but they still sound sweet on the Youtube video.
Korea should be fun this time around, I was there for my first assignment (AF) at Osan, but wasn't old enough to drink and I didn't do a whole lot off base. This time I'll be in Kunsan and old enough to. Should be a bit more fun, but gotta keep it in check to save money for the bike.
Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it. First, on the LED light - I love it. At night the difference in distance of viewing is exactly as advertised. A massive difference. I live a bit in the country and on the ride home from work it really makes a huge difference on the rural back roads. From a visibility and safety standpoint I am very happy. It is the same difference as Xeon were to car lights.
But the fact that it is blacked out and looks awesome helped
Thanks for the comments on the exhaust I believe anything over 94 db is a problem. Hard to go to anything but stock or SE slip ons to stay under. But are slip ons enough ? Sigh.
That LED light keeps singing its sweet siren song, one of these days I will fall prey to it but new bars come first.
SE Slipons - My bike came with those. They do sound better than the factory pipes but what wouldn't better than those? But my current setup sounds so radically better than the slip-ons. As for performance, I think I gained 0 hp and +1 tq from the slip-ons.
Just finished a bunch of powder coating.. next up. BIGGER, BLACKER BARS!
Love the powder coating ! Nice ride.
So I have to ask as I continue to struggle with what pipes to get. I like the V&H 2 into 1 pipes. How are you enjoying them? How is the noise ? As you will see from earlier posts I ride a lot in a province with noise violation happy police

Thanks, Albatross.
I love the pipes. They sound great. Loud enough to be heard, but not crazy drag pipe loud. I have no idea, if they would violate your noise restrictions.
My best guess would be to find a similar bike with the same pipes and listen to see how loud they are.
