I finally managed to read through the entire thread. Quite the chore. It would have been a lot faster if I didn't spend so much time drooling over all the pics. Lol. My Lo is still completely stock. I have had it for almost a month now. I have a set of V&H Big Radius 2 into 2s and a screamin eagle heavy breather. I am waiting until the 1000 mile service to throw those on. This thread is going to be the worst thing to ever happen to my wallet.

Yes. Yes it is. Enjoy the ride. Keep us up to date as you make changes. You are going to like the difference in sound and power with the pipes and A/C, provided you tune it somehow.
Picked her up on the 21st and rode her from San Jose down to San Diego! Speaking of...anyone in the San Diego area with 14 or 16" apes or street slammers willing to let me swing by to see how I like the setup? These stock bars arent cutting it...need to see what Im going to put on her!
Quick question to the fatboy low owners. Im new to the HD world and getting ready to purchase my first Harley. Im really liking the look/feel of the Fatboy, but dislike the solid rims. Looking at the pics doesnt look like a lot of people switch them out is there a reason for that? If not any good places to look at some aftermarket rims?
Good point MRH, I guess my concern would be them catching the wind etc,and i just dont find them visually appealing personally. Is there any function to having the solid rim? Or is it purely style? Pretty sure this is the bike i want but ive heard "the bike will pick you". Wont be purchasing until November.
